Associate Test Engineer

Associate Test Engineers perform various assignments of the engineering test function for standard and/or custom devices.Responsibilities to Include:
Designs and develops test procedures and assists in the evaluation of the test equipment required to perform quality checks.
Prepares recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures to be used from the product design phase through initial production.
Responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality and customer performance standards.
May participate in the development, maintenance and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs.
Development of test methods and related test support equipment & fixturing required to support component, subsystem, and system development, integration & qualification testing.
Troubleshooting and operation of complex mechanical & electronic equipment and instrumentation is required.
Job duties also entail oral presentations and technical support, detailed data analysis and evaluation of test results.
Applicant will work with senior engineers with moderate supervision and be required to provided guidance and direction to tehnicians.A Textron Company
REQUIREMENTS
BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline.Position Requirements:
Must be capable of performing detailed test planning including the researching, developing, and writing of test plans, procedures, and final reports utilizing DOS applications, MSOffice, and standard PC windows software.
Applicant must be able to perform test duties in various locations including tropical, rain forest, desert, and the arctic environments.
Previous experience as a systems test engineer.
Software background and experience in writing and/or testing code.
Travel Requirements: 40%
