Assoc. Survey Data Technician - PT

L3/Titan Group has an immediate opportunity for a Part-time Survey Data Technician.
Position Duties:
The applicant will solicit businesses to participate in voluntary Department of Labor surveys. Employees work with a Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewer (CATI) software application running under the Microsoft (MS) Windows NT operating system to manage and to document the communications with companies that occur via phone and fax. After signing up a company to participate in the survey, the employee will communicate with the company on a monthly basis to acquire the employment information. The employment data is checked for fluctuations from past reports. Significant fluctuations in data are discussed with the company in order to determine if an error was made in acquiring or transcribing the information. This position requires the applicant to spend a significant amount of time each month on the telephone working with 300 or more companies.Background and Experience: (including education, skills, work activities)
HS Diploma and 6 years of experience or a Bachelors Degree and 2 years experience.
1 year using MS Windows environment and varied software applications
Knowledge of MS Word/Excel applications is a plus
