Architectural CAD Lead

Purpose: Aerotek Engineering has an immediate opening for an architectural CAD lead. Our client is a national awarding winning full service firm with over 600 architects, engineers, and support professionals. Does building restorations and new design.

Duties:
* Drafting and architectural detailing within the architectural dept.
* Work under direction of a registered architect but should be able to handle much of their job duties without detailed direction from an architect.
* Work well within a team environment and serve as a mentor to junior staff and less experienced drafting and design technicians.

The qualified candidate will have:
* An associates degree or related architectural experience
* 10+ years experience under the supervision of a registered architect.
* AutoCAD 2005, Architectural Desktop, Microsoft Word and Excel
* Must be willing to travel
