Bystronic, Inc. a Frost & Sullivan award winner is looking to expand their Team. Candidate must have positive attitude, strong customer service skills and will work closely with the sales team. Fluent Spanish a plus. CAD a plus. Some travel required.
BASIC FUNCTION Demonstrate, instruct and provide technical support for metal processing systems (Ontario).
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform cutting and software demonstrations for potential customersInstruct Installation/Service Technicians on new technical developmentsInstruct on metal applications, machine operations and laser/mechanical safetyInstruct on BYSOFT softwareInstruct on bending softwareInstruct on machine maintenance proceduresProvide technical support via phone assistance; applications, operations, softwareProvide in-house computer hardware and software supportMaintain demo area and equipmentMaintain training documentationInterface with headquarters frequently on latest developmentsConduct technical presentations of Bystronic products for potential customersStay abreast of product innovations and communicate compettive info to Product ManagementAssist Sales Managers with potential customer visits Excellent compensation and benefits package including 100% 401k match.
REQUIREMENTS


QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE:
Equivalent to Bachelors Degree Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years experience
SPECIAL SKILLS: CO2 Laser and/or Press Brake experience a must. CNC programming, CAD software, and advanced computer skills beneficial. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint & Excel. Advanced metal applications operations. Knowledge of trigonometry and metallurgy. Travel required.
