Molding & Process Engineer


Large automobile manufacturer is seeking a Molding & Process Engineer for its plastics department. The new facility has state of the art equipment and a large shop with 45+ machines and over 100 setups per week. The ideal candidate needs a background in injection and blow molding within plastics manufacturing processes. The position will be responsible for research, design and testing for standard and custom products in the plastics division. Position requires a Bachelor of Science (BS) engineering degree, Plastics or Mechanical Engineering concentration a preference. Experience with 400 ton injection molding machinery and blow molding extrusion will be necessary. The selected individual will also be responsible for processes, production engineering and testing. Need to have some experience in this field, 2-10 years preferred. Company is dynamic and continually growing; this could be a career for life! Preferred Areas of Expertise:

Professional knowledge and a history in plastics or rubber manufacturing environment.
Experience with AutoCad, Solid Works, molding, injection molding, blow molding, and process engineering
2-10 years experience
Strong interpersonal communication, administrative, problem analysis, solving & leadership skills.
Position requires a BS/BA in Plastics or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering education.</li></ul>
