Application Engineer - Turbomachinery

Atlas Copco Comptec Inc. – a centrifugal compressor manufacturer in Voorheesville, NY – is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Application Engineer to work in the Marketing Department. Atlas Copco is an international industrial machinery manufacturer with headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.


The successful candidate would review customer specifications from both a technical and commercial aspect. Among the responsibilities are: sizing compressors for optimal performance, creating proper cost structures, developing proposals, interacting with other departments, and travel when required, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Position requirements include:

BS degree in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum five years experience working with the sales and application of rotating equipment and related auxiliary systems

Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions

Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills including communication, self-starter, positive make-happen attitude, handling multiple tasks, team player, etc.
