Application Development Analyst
Seeking Information Technology professional to work closely with both internal and external customers, IT staff, and other team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting technical solutions that are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities could include participation in component and data architecture design, system maintenance and administration, performance monitoring, and product evaluation. Duties and responsibilities:
Participates in architecture design, systems administration, performance monitoring, or product evaluation activitiesProvide production support for implemented solutions, design, code, test, and implement technical solutionsPerform analysis, design, code, test, and implement technical solutionsPlease note: Seeking qualified candidates residing in the St. Louis Metropolitan IL/MO area as relocation assistance is not provided for this career opportunity. Selected applicant will work in our current downtown Alton, IL offices, and be able to move to our new corporate site location in St. Louis (Creve Coeur), MO upon completion of our new building at 270 & Olive, in early 2007. Skills and Experience required:
Excellent communication skills and strong ability to work with external trading partners and vendors
Experience integrating enterprise applications; and background in business applications development.
Knowledge of database design and data retrieval techniques.
Experience in data gathering, manipulation, analysis, and presentation using various data/spreadsheet tools.
Prefer experience in systems design and an understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
