Position Summary
Responsible for delivering assignments within specified time frames, adhering to all established standards and guidelines individually or as a member of a project team.

Respond, resolve and document service tickets in a timely manner according to SLA’s or assigned completion dates.

Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.

Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.

Utilize Caremark methodologies, policies and procedures to maximize application development time and consistency.

Effectively present information and respond to questions either one-on-one or to groups of employees.

Coach less experienced team members on technical issues as needed.

Identify areas for improvement and present recommendations.

Prepare documentation as required including pseudo code, test plans, process flows and operations documentation.

Responsible for production support and monitoring as assigned.

Perform rotational 24 x 7 on call support as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualification/Experience
3-5 years application programming and support experience in an IBM Mainframe environment. 3-5 years application programming using JCL, Cobol, CICS and DB2. MicroStrategy, Actuate or Java experience a plus. SAS coding experience required with Java and Mainframe as a plus. Must be familiar with SDLC deliverables. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
