Aerospace Engineer
Aerospace Engineer Job - A global manufacturer of flight actuation systems has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Sr. Principle Engineer with electronic flight control actuation system experience. You will be responsible for electronics portion of flight control actuation systems, from requirements generation through design, verification, validation, and certification. Researches and carries out the most complex or innovative engineering assignments requiring the development of new or improved methods, techniques and procedures. Contributes to and has responsibility for completion of significant special assignments with broad product, technology investment and integration, customer and strategic impact.
Requirements: Bachelors degree (BS) in mechanical, aerospace, electronic, or systems engineering or a related technical discipline. MS/Ph.D. preferred.Fifteen or more years of related experience. Experienced in electrohydraulic and electromechanical flight control systems. Experienced in working with customers and suppliers in defining system and component level requirements. Thorough knowledge and understanding of FAA guidelines for development and certification of electronics and software such as Do-254, RTCA-178B, and ARP 4754 . Provide electronics architecture definition based on required functionality, safety, and compliance with certification regulations. Strong presentation skills, as well as written and oral communication skills. Travel required.
