Advanced Concepts Engineer - Footwear

As the Advanced Concepts Engineer, you will be responsible for researching, conceptualizing, prototyping, and developing new technologies for the market that meet company expectations. You will work with overseas development offices and vendors to assist in the expansion of new process and manufacturing technologies. In this role, you will direct and perform tests on engineered components and you will support the in-line development team on technical issues. You will maintain product specifications and tech packages. You will work closely with athletes, retailers, and the product team to understand performance and user needs. You will keep current on manufacturing and industry trends.
• Experience in the apparel/textile or footwear industry is preferred.
• One to three years of professional experience with at least one year of product development experience a plus.
• Superior communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering, Material Science, Biomechanics, or a related degree program with emphasis on high-volume manufacturing, automation, and mold design.
