Account Sales Engineer - Wilmington / New Bern, NC

Responsible for selling RA products and services to assigned customers. Represent the company to the customer and customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities. Is knowledgeable of company products/services. Apply knowledge of products, pricing plans, competition, marketing objectives, sales objectives and sales skills to sell company products/services.Responsible for the effective leadership of the assigned territory, resulting in a sustained and aggressive sales growth.Formulate and execute business strategies and sales plans to drive sales growth in the distributor APR. This territory has key accounts representing a variety of different industries. Coordinate activities and resource utilization with others in the Sales organization. Drive the growth of Rockwell Automation sales through our distributor by teaming with our channel sales lead.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Lead distributor sales team to achieve or exceed branch objectives including the bookings and billings goals.
* Coordinate with channels within territory for account classification and assignment.
* Develop complex sales strategies and plans for accounts and for the covered territory.
* Measure customer satisfaction and create programs to improve satisfaction within the branch.
* Coach and assist the distributor sales team with planning, coordinating and project management issues.
* Build relationships with key RA customers at senior levels.
* Ensure thorough familiarity with policies and procedures relating to standards of business conduct and train and motivate distributor sales team in the importance of full compliance.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree in engineering or other related technical field.Minimum of three years of related experience or a graduate of the RA Sales Training Program.Rockwell Automation offers a competitive benefit plan.
