Account Manager - SalesSummary:Responsible for the review of customer drawings, to analyze and interpret data, to make conclusions and recommendations, and to develop cost of products. Responsible for customer project launch activities relating to processing mass production parts. Uses advanced knowledge of Process design engineering to analyze and interpret the relationship of the final product to produce the highest quality part at the lowest cost. Responsibilities will be to make conclusions and recommendations to achieve the essential duties and responsibilities listed below. Additional duties to assure the efficiency of the Engineering Division or the company may be assigned. Work will be accomplished in adherence to all policies set forth by the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:· Review customer drawings to develop method, manning, machines and materials to produce parts, using both personal knowledge and assimilated information from Tooling and Equipment Engineers to develop cost.· Independently investigates new methods and practices of developing cost· Develop new and advanced cost standards of cost development strategies and make recommendations to management· Independently investigates new processing strategies to integrate 4-M’s · Develop new and advanced parts processing standard strategies o Labor planningo Work cell layout – CADo Use of std. combination worksheets or MOST· Able to plan, coordinate and manage internal trials · Tracking and monitoring of master schedule items· Able to apply TPS strategies (Lean, Six-Sigma)· Reporting to senior management to explain condition of assignments· Completion of work in accordance with divisional business plansQualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required. Education and/or Experience:· Bachelor degree from a four year college or university in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering: or three to five years related experience and or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.· Automotive Tier I or Tier II experience preferred· Project Management – follow through to meet customer program requirements.· Toyota Production Systems or related system· Specification of production equipment and process design· Process Flow/Capability/Layout/Capacity Analysis Language skills· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret related technical documents.· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.· Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, suppliers, CMA personnel· Ability to effectively present information Mathematical skills· Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and algebra. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportion to practical situations. Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required.



Education and/or Experience:

· Bachelor degree from a four year college or university in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering: or three to five years related experience and or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Automotive Tier I or Tier II experience preferred

· Project Management – follow through to meet customer program requirements.

· Toyota Production Systems or related system

· Specification of production equipment and process design

· Process Flow/Capability/Layout/Capacity Analysis


Language skills
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret related technical documents.

· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
