On September 15, 2006, we will start our 2-week Entry-Level Training Program in our Pittsburgh, PA location. This program is geared towards individuals starting their career in IT. It covers the latest, in-demand technologies, including both software development and testing skills.

This program gives people the opportunity to deepen their skills and learn how, at Accenture Technology Solutions, they can use them to help deliver innovative solutions to Accenture clients. During the training program, participants will gain exposure to new technologies and receive the latest training along with other IT specialists. It is a great opportunity to learn and network. The training is made up of two intense weeks of training in System Testing for Cobol and web applications. The training uses the latest technology in training and combines computer based learning with group interaction.

The Entry-Level Training Program is our primary vehicle for selecting people for Testing/Programmer roles at Accenture Technology Solutions. People who successfully complete this program may be offered a position as a Systems Tester with Accenture Technology Solutions. So not only will you have the opportunity to strengthen IT skills and learn to apply them in a business environment, you could potentially gain a job at the end of it.

What we are looking for:

We look for people who are passionate about technology and bring with them a solid understanding of testing and mainframe exposure. We require 0-6 months of experience and some training/school courses in testing and web applications. Background in healthcare claims is a plus.

What we offer:

2 Weeks of paid training, absolutely free of charge.
Trainees will receive minimum wage while in training.
Training is Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM with one hour lunch break.
$500 bonus for successfully completing the 4 weeks of training.
