Client located in Linthicum MD is seeking a Senior Software Applications Engineer (C# ASP.NET) for full time employment. The candidate will be responsible for development of Internet and Web-based Technology applications using project and vendor management, full lifecycle methodologies, relational databases and software development and integration skills.

Responsibilities
Interact with both internal and external customers to establish and meet their applications system development needs.
Understand the business processes used both internally and externally with the ability to analyze, recommend, and assist in the implementation of process improvements and application implementations.
Identify resources available in and required from other business & I/S departments to develop, deploy and support of applications.
Assist systems architect in the development and use of Web-based system architecture plan.
Assist in the identification, evaluation, selection, and implementation and extension of package applications, SW libraries, application toolkits and full software life cycle tools
Assist in the development of Web-based System development plans and reports.
Design, develop and lead the development of Web-based applications for internal users as well as customers, partners, and other external user communities.
Provide data and database design expertise and coordinate with existing data owners and I/S DBA.
Mentor team developers in all aspects of software development.
