This requires technical knowledge of iSeries400 programming necessary to maintain current applications, augment existing functionality, and develop new systems. The Developer/ Analyst will help mentor peers and Technicians with respect to programming techniques and the business systems.
REQUIREMENTS
•Minimum 4 years experience designing, developing, and testing applications.
•Strong capabilities in writing interactive and batch programs in RPGIII, RPGIV, SQL and CL on an iSeries400.
•Application design experience (files, screens, jobs, dependencies).
•Accomplished utilization of Development Tools/Utilities (PDM, SEU, SDA, RDU/RLU, Debug, Hawkeye, Sequel, Ezview).
•Competent in ability to de-bug RPGIII, RPGIV, SQL, and CLP, both interactive and batch.
•Must have experience in testing complex applications and creating application and performance test plans, scripts and cases.
•Must have experience working within a formal software development lifecycle including responsibility for the documents commonly required as deliverables.
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

•Proven ability to follow priorities and timelines.
•Capabilities in some of the following: RPG Freeform, Lotus Notes, Java, Object Oriented Design, Web-based development, HTML, Java Script, Websphere would be a plus.
