APPLICATIONS ENGINEER (Texas )

Eagle Test Systems is a highly successful, growing NASDAQ traded company that is a leader in the manufacturing of automatic test equipment. We have an immediate need for a Senior Applications Engineers, who will be based at our office in Plano, Texas.

The primary purpose of this position is to develop the most difficult test solutions for our customers and to coordinate the installation of test application solutions. These test applications solutions are primarily for mixed signal devices such as (but not limited to) DAC, ADC, regulators, power management and battery management devices in multi-site configurations. There will also be hardware design requirements to achieve interface emulation for the tester solution to the device interface. As an additional responsibility this position also provides technical support to Eagle Test System customers in the usage of our products.

Functions and responsibilities include:utilizing hardware and software to develop test solutions for our customers and to develop application solution demonstrations and presentations;working with customers to coordinate test product transfers, assisting in test production interfacing and providing application training to end users;providing training on new systems options and features to other Applications Engineers and our customers;and using statistical methods for analysis of correlation and repeatability data.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent 4-year degree and possess a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience, preferably in a large manufacturing organization. A Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is desirable.
