ANSI C/UNIX Developer
ANSI C/UNIX Developer Kforce is looking to hire a seasoned and talented ANSI C/Unix developer for ongoing maintenance and support of existing and future projects. Candidate will serve as a project application developer as part of an overall implementation team. The individual will develop and modify software for a high-volume client/server proprietary transaction processing system written in ANSI C on UNIX and Windows servers/clients. Oracle is used for all data storage, retrieval and auditing, and a thorough knowledge of relational database concepts is required. The individual will be responsible for design, unit test, and installation of code modifications. The individual will required to adhere to all configuration management and documentation procedures. The individual may be required to travel to customer site for meetings, software maintenance and/or installation, or other duties. Comprehensive knowledge of engineering concepts, procedures, and practices. Able to analyze, design and develop solutions to complex problems. A thorough knowledge of relational database concepts is required. Able to plan and carry out complex projects to completion. Under general direction, independently performs complex tasks involving in-depth subject matter. Excellent communications and problem solving skills. This position will require travel outside the greater Washington Metro area. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree and at least 7 years experience (or an equivalent combination of training and professional work experience that provides the required knowledge and skills.)With over 40 years of experience, Kforce sets the standard in the staffing industry with an unwavering commitment to provide our candidates with exceptional career opportunities.
