HUMAN RESOURCES HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATORWill have 5+ years experience in a high-volume, fast-paced HR department. Experience with new-hire orientations, interviewing and recruitment practices req. Must have knowledge and experience with LOA administration, Workers' Comp administration, CA labor laws, AAP, benefits/401(k) administration, ADP/Payroll, HR Profile and HR record keeping. Must be proficient in Microsoft and ADP ReportSmith applications. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and a sense of urgency a must.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
NETWORK ADMINISTRATORProvides general support to IT infrastructure. Requires 5+ years experience plus proficiency with Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory, EMC SANs, TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs and Cisco switches and routers. Extensive Exchange, network and computer troubleshooting skills and BS degree required. MCSE certification a plus. Skill test required.
ENGINEERINGAUDIO DESIGN ENGINEERWill design analog & digital audio systems. 5 yrs min experience in audio design and DSP required. Candidates must have good written and verbal communications skills, be detailed orientated, highly organized and have strong computer skills. BSEE and transcripts will be required.
DESIGN ENGINEER
Design computer/video interfaces, distribution amplifiers and small switchers. Must be familiar with PLD and FPGA programming and have a good background in video and audio systems. Good written and verbal communication skills a must. BSEE Degree (with transcripts) required. Position located in Mesa, Arizona or Anaheim, California.
INTERNATIONAL MANUFACTURING ENGINEERResponsible for interfacing w/project managers in Chinese subcontract companies to obtain initial RFQs for sourcing subcontracting projects. Must be familiar with PCB fabrication and assembly processes. Will analyze BOM costs to determine feasibility of project and develop time tables for projects and solve problems in documentation, communication and procedural processes. Travel to China req on regular basis to assist Chinese companies with product transition from the U.S. Ability to speak, read and write Mandarin Chinese a plus. Min 5 yrs exp working w/ Chinese subcontracting and electronic component mfg. Must be U.S. Citizen or perm resident. BSEE degree and transcripts will be req.
MANUFACTURING/PRODUCTIONBUYERInterfaces with project managers and coordinators for the purpose of purchase order administration, as well as daily expediting of orders and updating product status. Must have excellent communication skills with a min of 3 yrs exp working with contract manufacturers and electronic component suppliers worldwide. Requires experience with high-level MRP system and planners to analyze and revise MPS to reflect PO changes. Exp and knowledge in handling freight forwarding, duty and customs regulations. Strong negotiating skills and knowledge of PCB, electronic components, cable, cable assemblies and metal fabrication a must.
MECHANICAL ENGINEERHands on engineer with extensive fixturing and tooling knowledge. Requires 2D/3D CAD experience, including AutoCad, Solidworks or Inventor. Sheet metal fabrication, injection molding and wet paint/powder coating process experience is a plus. Experience in Test Automation is also a plus. Should be able to read, understand, create and modify mechanical drawings, as well as pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Electronics schematic reading is a plus. Adaptability to a fast-paced design and manufacturing environment essential. Excellent presentation and strong communications skills both written and verbal a must. BSME degree and transcripts will be required.
PLANNERResponsible for planning, scheduling, production and inventory control. Must be knowledgeable with ERP systems, APICS certification a plus. Position requires excellent communication skills with a min of 5 yrs exp working in electronics manufacturing environment.
PLANNING MANAGER
Seeking a "hands-on" Planning Manager to manage the material planning & shop scheduling functions for a commercial electronics manufacturer. Responsibilities will include the day-to-day supervision of the Master Production Schedule, MRP generation, BOM cost structure, & shop floor control. Must have demonstrated leadership skills, be proficient in ERP systems and a clear communicator. Min 10 yrs exp in materials management with APICS, CPIM certification. 4-yr degree and transcripts will be required.
PROJECT ENGINEERLeads cross-functional teams in the product development cycle from conception to production. Candidate must have hands-on experience in electro-mechanical design and/or assembly environment, and manufacturing processes. Project/program management experience a plus. Should be able to read, understand and create mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and gerber files. Excellent presentation, interpersonal skills, multitasking and strong communications skills, both written and verbal, are a must. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment essential. BSEE, BS in Manufacturing Technology and transcripts will be required.TEST DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERDevelops automatic test equipment for high-performance audio/video switching products using IEEE-488 GPIB instrument and I/O controllers with HP/Agilent VEE or LabView software; writing programs for instrument control and data acquisition; and designing test fixtures for high-speed testing. Position requires a min 5 yrs test engineering exp with hands-on exp in PC-based ATE test automation. Position also provides support and training to production test. BSEE degree (with transcripts) required. MSEE preferred. Excellent presentation and strong communications skills, both written and verbal a must.
MARKETING
MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS WRITER
Writes printed and electronic marketing collateral focused on technical product information targeted to audiovisual dealers including product catalogs, brochures, advertisements, press releases, white papers, direct mailers, web pages, and newsletters. Must have 5-10 yrs hi-tech writing exp for a manufacturer or industry trade publication, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Must be able to produce acceptable copy in a variety of styles and tones dependent on project objectives and target media. A/V industry exp highly desired. Attention to detail a must.
SALES
EDUCATION CONTRACTS ADMIN/DEVELOPER
Develops and administers contracts for all Federal and State Government business. Requires a minimum of 5 years experience with the establishment and maintenance of Fed & State contacts such as GSA (schedule 58 & 70), CMAS, TXMAS, etc. Must have solid computer and organizational skills. BA/BS and transcripts will be required.
MARKET DEVELOPERSMarket Developers are needed for both the Residential and Rental and Staging Markets. Both require 7+ yrs management exp and will function in a business development role developing relationships and pursuing opportunities within the target market. Positions will also sell project-based, solution-oriented opportunities.RESIDENTIAL MARKET DEVELOPER-to include home theater; whole-home automation; whole-house audio and lighting control. Exposure to Extron products desired. Bachelor's degree preferred.RENTAL/STAGING MARKET DEVELOPER-to include event staging; audiovisual property management and equipment rental. Must have exp with audiovisual equipment, exposure to Extron products desired. Bachelor's degree preferred.
