2 Software Engineer positions

1. Software Engineer - 3.5 years experience
Primary Responsiblities:
••Utilize Windows technologies to develop software deliverables.
••Develop and design approach using detailed requirements
••Participate in team membership through strong interaction, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
••Outside the box thinker
••Undertake risks/issues towards being elevated to upper management when appropriate.
••Adhere and support process methodologies.
••Support the planning of future activities with System Engineering to develop detailed work estimates.
••Provide product maintenance support with problem mitigation.
••Maintain close interaction with System Engineering by providing consultation support as necessary.
••Support System test activities through the development life cycle.

2. Sr. Software Engineer - 5+ years experience
This position requires an individual with strong background in software development in an embedded environment as well as a Windows environment. The preferred candidate should be proficient in C++ and object oriented design, knowledgeable in the entire Software Development Lifecycle and possess technical leadership abilities.
•Developing and enhancing Experion’s Batch/Sequential control execution within the embedded and Supervisory controller platforms. Development includes C++ coding, debugging and code reviews.
•Working with multiple/global teams to converge on designs and agree on interfaces
•Writing/Reviewing technical documents such as detail design documents and system maintenance documents.
•Providing technical support to development teams at remote sites.
•Developing and executing Unit Tests
•Supporting System Integration Test Activities as necessary
•Providing work estimates for all assignments
•Adhering to existing process methodologies such as peer reviews and formal estimation techniques
•Fixing field problems in currently released product
•Managing source code using version control tool
REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:
1. Software Engineer
••BS Computer Science/Computer Engineering or higher
••3+ years experience in all aspects of software design and development.
••3+ years experience in Object Oriented design and implementation.
••3 + years experience in the Microsoft Development environments and technologies.
••3+ years experience in C++

Additional Qualifications:
••Experience in MFC, COM, Active X Control and .NET
••Knowledge of SQL server scripting, markup languages (HTML, XML) and .Net a plus.
••3 + years experience with background in all aspects of design and development.
••Process control or real-time experience a plus

••Ability to work well with people.
••Strong problem solving ability.

2. Software Engineer
•BS Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
•Experience with the Microsoft Development environments and technologies
•Experience in embedded controller development
•5+ years experience in software development

Additional Requirements:

•Experience in Win32 multithreaded development
•Possess interpersonal skills to negotiate across teams and drive team to decisions
•Large system development experience a plus
•Process Control Industry experience a plus especially batch production and/or batch applications
•Good troubleshooting/problem solving skills
•Familiarity with ANS/ISA-88 standards
•Familiarity with one or more batch products on the market
•Experience using ClearCase
•Experience using Integrity (From Green Hills) Embedded OS
•Familiar with Six Sigma methods to achieve process and time to market improvements.
