Esthetics Instructor-- Plan, organize, provide instruction, and operate a program of training in vocational skills that will lead to student employment in the area of esthetics.
PT evening instruction for fall quarter. REQ: Completion of a 600 hr esthetics training program; 3 yrs. recent FT experience as esthetics professional; current WA state esthetician & esthetics instructor license.
English Instructor-Northwest Career and Technical High School— Responsible for developing and teaching English 82 and 94 to high school students who are involved in the Northwest Career & Technical High School program.
PT, fall qtr—REQ: Valid WA state teaching certificate and 3 years high school teaching experience.
Executive Assistant to President-- Provides administrative assistant services and administrative support as well as communicative and public relations skills which supplement the President's ability to respond to all the needs of the college and community. Duties include acting as recording secretary and assistant to the college Board of Trustees.
FT, REQ: 4 years of high-level secretarial experience including word processing and 2 years secretarial experience in an educational setting. Salary: $55,880 annual
Pre Head Start Lead Teacher—Will construct a daily schedule of classroom routines and activities; prepare and implement lesson plans that include health and nutrition activities following Head Start Performance Standards and NAEYC Accreditation criteria.
FT, REQ: 2 years experience in an Early Childhood Education classroom plus ECE Certificate or CDA.
Computer Information Technology Instructor-- Teaches students basic computer courses such as fundamentals of information technology, operating systems, and introduction to programming.
FT, REQ: BA in computer science or related; 3 years recent full-time work or teaching experience in the object-oriented languages.
Retail Business Instructor—Provide current hands-on training in all aspects of retail business marketing management.
FT tenure, winter qrt—REQ: 3 years in the retail industry.
Opportunity Grant Coordinator-- Develop, coordinate, and manage a $419,000 state grant funding program for lower income students and have the ability to effectively motivate students to achieve educational and career goals.
FT, exempt. REQ: BA in education, humanities, social sciences, or behavioral sciences and 1 year experience with higher education programs and/or social services OR 3 years work experience within the Community and Technical College system in the area of student services, instruction, or administration.
