University of Colorado at Boulder Associate Diretor Information Tehnology(IT) Image Strategist ATLAS Institute, University of Colorado,Boulder The National Center for Women & Information Technology (www.ncwit.org) seeks an IT Image Strategist. The IT Image Strategist will plan and lead a national research and awareness campaign to encourage more young people to enter IT fields and enhance public understanding of IT. This position will work with executive-level leaders across the country, forming strategic relationships with corporations, negotiating with academic institutions to shepherd computer science curricular reform, talking to the press, and acting as a national spokesperson for the computing and IT fields.Minimum qualifications: BA or BS in appropriate discipline; multidisciplinary skills - business development, computing, or PR background; minimum 7 years industry experience in IT; ability to work in university and industry environments; ability to lead teams of academic and industry executives at a national level; excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; exceptional professional attitude; ability to structure and manage business relationships and to lead/motivate others. Travel required.Highly desirable: Degree in IT-related field; experience defining and working with image campaigns.
