Training Specialist

Penn Treaty is a leading provider of long term care insurance in the United States. Our policies cover all levels of nursing home care and home health care, and are designed to make the administration of claims simple, quick and sensitive to the needs of our policyholders.

Currently Penn Treaty has an opening for a Training Specialist in our Claims department. The Training Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to:

Develop and conduct all technical training including new hire and refresher
Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials and manuals.
Update claims Intranet site
Maintain and create department forms and letters
Complete testing and performance evaluations of trainees and existing employees
REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates will have the following:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2-3 years experience working with adult learners
Strong stand-up, verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to present information in a simple, professional and knowledgeable manner
Must be organized
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office pkg
