Trainer/Instructional Designer

We have been consistently recognized as a best-in-class email service provider by Forrester Research and Jupiter Research, and a Top 10 interactive marketing agency by AdWeek.Trainer/Instructional DesignerThe Trainer/Instructional Designer will design and write instructional materials for proprietary technical and non-technical courses to be used for instructor-led courses, webinars, and self-paced learning activities. Complementing our team of instructors, the Instructional Designer/Trainer will step in to train clients and staff as needed. Position is based in San Mateo, California. Minimal travel required.Qualifications:

10 years experience preferred

Experience writing instructional materials for various forms of delivery: instructor-led, webinar, and self-paced training

Familiar with adult learning techniques

Some training experience with internal constituents (employees) and external constituents (clients)Required Skills/Experience:

Must be able to produce work that is technically accurate and grammatically correct

Must be highly skilled in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Must be able to provide samples of design work completed

Ability to train clients and staff in a professional and engaging manner

Ability to communicate "why" technical steps are useful instead of just "how" to do them

Ability to work quickly and independentlyPreferred Skills/experience:

Marketing experience, especially with large programs, a plus

Knowledge of relational databases a plus
