Trainer -- California Elections

Description: Train poll workers, election officials, and peers in the use of voting machines and optical scan machines in a classroom environment.Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational and reporting skills
Minimum 2 years teaching or instructing others
Must be able to work overtime and flexible hours
Must have own car
Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
Must be able to process a series of steps/procedures and instruct others how to perform the procedures
Must be able to manage a large number of classroom participants, resolve conflict and minimize disruptions
Must be flexible and adaptable to varying training environments
Must be able to give instructions so that all can understand
Must be able to travel within CA; some overnight travel required

Preferred Qualifications:

Election industry experience
AS, BS or BA in related studies, teaching experience in IT industry
