Teacher Quality Project Grant

The Teacher Quality Project grant is a collaborative effort between Des Moines Area Community College, Drake University, and the Des Moines Public Schools. The purpose of the grant is to increase the number of minority teachers in Des Moines Schools. The grant provides financial support to minority individuals interested in pursuing a degree in teaching. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and potential for success at the college level. Preference is given to applicants with some college course work or a degree in a non-teaching area.
