Teacher-Child Care-2 year old room

John Knox Village has a nationally accredited child care center on campus that provide child care for associates and children in the community. The Children's Village is looking for an assistant teacher for the 2 year-old room. This person will:
-provide consistent, positive, appropriate supervision in the two year-old classroom.-Assist with planning and implementation of activities and maintains positive and appropriate discipline techniques.-Maintain a safe, well organized classroom, which recognizes and accepts individual differences of children.-Provide professional communication to management, staff and parents.-Support the Village mission and values.
REQUIREMENTS
One (1) year child care center experience required.Child Development Association Certification or 12 college credits in related subject required.Two or four years of early childhood education preferred.Effective communication skills, written and verbal, required.Must be 18 years or older.
