Teacher's Assistant / Assistant Teacher Position in a Small Learning Center Environment catering to mostly Bi-Lingual ChildrenWe are looking for an energetic and friendly individual to fill the position of a Teacher's Assistant in a small, but rapidly expanding learning center.
We focus on students in grades K-8. We are a learning center, that cares a great deal for the welfare and educational progress of our children. We provide a level of service and customized student care that is not paralleled in the industry today. The successful applicant will be responsible for small class of no more than 9 students.Our Fall After-School program provides an Enriched Learning Environment, that incorporates homework help as well as an individualized curriculum that expands on the subjects being addressed in each student's school. Additional support and reinforcement in reading, mathematics, computers, computer applications, and study skills are also key components of our comprehensive program.Program hours are approximately 3:30 to 7:00 PM Monday-Friday. There will be a total of ~20 hours/week.This FALL After-School POSITION will pay a minimum of $8-12/hour (NO TAXES DEDUCTED) for the successful applicant.*NO TAXES WILL BE DEDUCTED BY THE EMPLOYER as your position is that of an independent contractor.Our After-School Program operates during the Fall, Winter, and Spring school semesters. We also run a Summer Program. This position may evolve into a permanent relationship for the right applicant.Friendly and Pleasant attitude is absolutely required. Energy and Enthusiasm are very important.

REQUIREMENTS
PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY PREFERREDESL Experience is also a plus.CURRENT EDUCATION MAJOR STUDENTS OK!!!
