TEACHER
STUDENT SUPPORT TEACHER The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community is seeking a qualified individual to
serve as a student advocate for SMSC Native American students in the K-12
school system. Proactively works within the school setting in all areas of
academic performance, tutoring, serves as liaison, and designs individual
learning strategies and activities to enhance student success. Serves as an
Advocate for Indian culture within the Public School setting and promote
cultural activities. Qualifications: Education degree or related experience
preferred. Teaching and classroom experience preferred, also working with
Native American students required. Dakota language skills a plus. Interested
