Sr. Programmer

CGFNS International is a leading authority on international professional healthcare credentialing. Currently we are seeking an experienced IT professional who has the ability to analyze and document business system issues and provide Java and Oracle programming and reporting solutions.



Responsibilities include:

Provide technical solutions for internal and external business applications.

Ability to be Team leader on small to mid-sized projects and take a project through all phases of the System Life Cycle.

Follow pre-determined guidelines and standards for documentation, coding and testing.

Creating programming specifications, coding and testing programs.

Preparing test data, test plan and implementation strategies.

Work directly with end-users to assist in defining requirements, evaluate feasibility and technical alternatives, prioritize and generate deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:

Minimum Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of experience in the field or related area.

Experience:

5+ years required of Oracle PL/SQL and JAVA/J2EE, JSP experience.

1+ years required experience with Oracle Reports or other reporting tool

Experience required in all phases of the System Life Cycle including skills necessary to handle Testing and Change

Management requests.

Must be strong with requirements gathering, application design and have some data modeling experience.

Hands on experience with STRUTS and the MVC framework is strongly recommended

Experience with JDeveloper or similar IDE is strongly recommended

Experience with Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Workflow, Oracle BC4J and Unix
