Speech Language Pathologist (Autism School)

NHS Human Services is currently seeking a Fee For Service Speech Language Pathologist to work with children with Autism. The Speech Language Pathologist should be able to perform the following job duties:

*Administer necessary tests and evaluations
*Develop and implement speech exercises identified for each individual
*Coordinate with teachers/other team members regarding effective techniques for use for each individual in the classroom setting
*Develop IEP goals based on own assessment and assessment or recommendation of other workers (physician, psychologist, etc.)
*Confer with parents/care givers on a regular basis (both verbal and written) regarding progress of each individual child and instruct them on strategies that are effective
*Send home progress report/therapy update weekly
*Conduct group therapy sessions as necessar
*Use any augmentative devices necessary for individual treatment
*Complete and maintain necessary records/documentation of session
REQUIREMENTS
*Bachelor's degree in Human Services
*PA Certification in Speech and Language Pathology
*1-3 years of experience working with children with Autism in a school setting preferred
