Speech-Language Pathologist

The Arc of Union functions as both an advocacy and service agency. Its goal for both endeavors is to promote holistic community integration and independence for people with developmental disabilities across life spheres and within early childhood, educational, social, residential, vocational, and family domains. The Arc of Union uses both of its functions to promote the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities and to provide meaningful choices and options for consumers of services.

Under the direction of the Principal or designate, and in accord with agency and profession specific guidelines, this position is responsible for the evaluation and assessment of program participants/students utilizing appropriate assessment tools and techniques. The incumbent will prepare initial evaluation and progress reports as required as well as design and implement treatment plans, goals and clinical interventions based on the evaluation and assessment and in accord with individual needs.
REQUIREMENTS
The incumbent must meet and maintain all academic, experiential and licensure requirements of the agency and professional, state or local governing agencies. Strong written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated competency in all areas indicated below.
