The Sierra Nevada College Ski Team has a long standing tradition of winning. With a string of fifteen USCSA National Championships and many FIS and USSA victories, the team is focused on excellence in ski racing. The team is currently searching for a new head coach to continue this team’s dominance in collegiate and FIS racing for the 2006-2007 winter season.

Coaching responsibilities will include the following:
Organizing the team for dryland training.
Compiling a schedule of events including FIS and USCSA races
Running race (GS and Slalom) training sessions during the winter
Arranging travel, accommodations and registration for athletes
Coaching at all events throughout the season
Managing the team budget and expenses
Recruiting skiers and oversight of college scholarship program
REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate will have a minimum BA or BS with at least two to three years of head coaching experience.
Any interested candidate should be familiar with FIS and USSA level racing;
Experience racing or coaching at the college level and familiarity with USCSA is not required, but would be preferred.

This is a great opportunity for a coach looking to take their experience to the "next level". This seasonal position offers highly competitive wages and position starts immediately upon hire.
