Senior Sales Representative - Classified/Education

Orlando Sentinel Communications is seeking candidates for:Senior Sales Representative - Classified/EducationResponsible for selling advertising for all Orlando Sentinel products including special accent editions in order to meet advertising linage and revenue goals.
REQUIREMENTS
Typically requires 3 – 5 years experience in advertising sales of media printStrong verbal communication and presentation skills to work with high volume clients; tact and persuasion to effectively close sales and handle client complaints and misunderstandings; self-confidence and professional image necessary to call on and maintain long-term working relationships with large clients; able to organize time on a daily basis and handle multiple projects
Public presentation and listening skills; work with management to prepare and negotiate customized contractsIn-depth knowledge of advertising layout and black and white and color printing; working knowledge of principles of effective marketingValid driver's license and accessible transportation to make account calls; able to travel on company business
