SUPERVISOR

SUPERVISOR Youthful Offender Program In cooperation with the Director of Continuing Education, the Youthful Offender Program Supervisor will provide supervision and oversight of the Youthful Offender Program at various correctional facilities across the state of Michigan. Oversight will include scheduling classes, monitoring student progress, writing reports, and responding to prison staff needs. Supervision will include assigning tasks to staff, supervision of instructors, and the assessment of program and instructional staff.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications include the following: Baccalaureate degree, willingness to work inside prisons, acceptable for employment by the Michigan Department of Corrections, experience with supervision, able to conduct group presentations, good organizational/management skills, demonstrated excellence in written, oral, and interpersonal communication, demonstrated ability to work as a team member as well as independently, and reliable transportation.
