SSD Instructional Designer/Developer III

Basic Function:
The instructional designer will be expected to perform business research in order to identify gaps between the current state of the claims and customer service environments and future state for the purpose of conducting appropriate training solutions and learning interventions based on needs analysis; working closely with documentation unit, subject matter experts, and other internal customers to create appropriate blended learning solutions for Subscriber Services Division; designing instructional materials (CBT/WBT/paper-based); developing CBT and web-based training programs; working with subject matter experts to make revisions/updates; packaging courses for publication to the learning management system; and trouble-shooting development/coding issues.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
1) Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Instructional Design or Adult Education; 2) Experience with front-end/back-end development; 3) 4 years design and/or development experience; 4) Must be familiar with scripting/coding and course packaging for LMS publication; 5) Ability to create web-based training from storyboards; 6) Extensive knowledge and skills pertaining to instructional design and related fields; 7) Work collaboratively with other designers/developers and SMEs.

Preferred Job Requirements:
1) Master's degree in Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Instructional Design or Adult Education.
