SITE DIRECTOR – AFTER-SCHOOL EDUCATION TUTORING PROGRAM

Here’s your chance to put some of your education experience to work! School Professionals, a New York State-approved provider of after-school tutoring (SES) and the leading supplier of teachers/substitutes to schools in the New York Metro area, has an exciting opportunity for the right individual to supervise our SES school sites at several Bronx schools as well as working out of our headquarters office in midtown Manhattan.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our program director to ensure that our tutoring programs run smoothly at your assigned schools. Primary responsibilities will include:

·Manage the student recruitment and enrollment process.
·Develop programs to ensure high attendance rates for students.
·Manage weekly paperwork flow from each school (track attendance and disseminate required information/materials to the schools).
·Supervise site coordinators to ensure students get to class in a timely/organized manner and are dismissed as required, and that all disciplinary/safety issues are handled properly.
·Solidify/build relationships with the school community.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidates should be bilingual (Spanish/English), hold a bachelor’s degree and have prior education experience in grades K-12. In addition, you should possess good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and have the ability to work independently.
