Residential Home Manager

MONDAY-FRIDAY, 40 HRS PER WEEK.

WORKING WITH ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABILITIES

OVERSEES TWO COMMUNITY RESIDENCES IN THE NORTHERN RI AREA

Has a working knowledge of all jobs under his/her supervision. Sets goals for the program, incorporating the needs, desire, and dreams of people. Ensures supports that help people establish and maintain a growing social network with opportunities to try new things and meet new people. Educates and assists in financial planning to adequately meet household and person budget needs. Identifies and resolves safety and maintenance concerns. Fosters positive relationships with family members, friends, and significant others. Ensures that medication and treatments are administered following proper medical procedures. Oversees the coordination of staffing. Completes performance reviews. Schedules, facilitates, develops, and monitors individual support plans. Completes a variety of divisional reports. Schedules and facilitates meetings. Provides 24 hour on-call coverage.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires a high school diploma and 2 years of progressive management experience in the human services field, or in rare circumstances, any combination of lesser education and offsetting experience which is substantially equivalent to the above.
