Residential Assistants

Assist adults with developmental disabilities in residential group home setting. Positions available in Port Richey, Shady Hills, Dade City and Zephyrhills. Shifts may include some nights/weekends.

Responsibilities are to work with the other staff to provide supports to individuals with developmental disabilities for self-care, daily living skills and recreational outcomes. Employees will share in the responsibilities with other staff in areas such as care for individuals' medication management, health and safety, personal needs, daily living skills, leisure activities and documentation of service implementation. Employee will share equal responsibility with other staff for household management (meal planning, housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, etc.). When necessary, this employee will drive the Agency vehicle for community activities, appointments, etc.

REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma/GED
1 year experience working in a medical, nursing, child care or psychiatric setting or in working with persons who have a developmental disability
