Friends Hospital, our nation's first psychiatric hospital, located on 100 acres of the most beautiful grounds in Northeast Philadelphia, has an immediate full time opening for ADMISSIONS NURSE.

This position is responsible for evaluating patients (including triage, psychological assessments) to determine the need for services, assigning level of care. Works cooperatively with Managed Care Organizations fulfilling contractual obligations; provides professional services and case management functions as needed along the continuum of care.

This position is full time, all shifts (7am-3:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm and 11pm-7:30am)

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3-5 years of supervised post-degree experience including diagnosis, personality evaluation, consultation and psychotherapy.

Minimum 2-3 years post-degree experience in combination of inpatient and outpatient settings, managed care experience preferred.

Experience working with various levels of care across the continuum of mental health and chemical dependency services.

Master's Degree in Nursing (ANCC Certification as Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Specialist).

Current PA License.

Computer Literacy required.
