Program Supervisor

Its comprehensive range of services include supplemental reading and math instruction, remedial and after-school enrichment programs, early childhood education, and English Language Development programs.
The Program Supervisor will manage and oversee the operations and instructional program of several school and or community-based centers within a geographic region and working with Speech Language Pathologists as well as teachers. Responsibilities to include managing a staff of instructors, raising student achievement, maintaining student attendance and reporting program results to parents, principals, the school district and the appropriate Catapult Managers.Primary responsibilities include: Manages and oversees the operations and instructional program of several school or community-based centers. Completes accurate and timely program reports on a monthly and quarterly basis, or when requested by members of the management team. Recruits, supervises, assists in training, and evaluations of program instructors. Monitors program quality; including conducting regular program evaluations and making sure that program adjustments are made when appropriate and necessary. Serves as the instructional leader by assisting instructors in making decisions to ensure each student achieves appropriate learning gains. Maintaining student attendance and following up with parents of students with absence issues. Frequent parent/student outreach.
REQUIREMENTS
BA in Education, Management. 5+ years of related experience in urban educational setting-supervising teachers. 3-5 years management and budget experience. Knowledge of the community and a comfort level working with low-income communities and individuals. Passion and commitment to improving the quality of education for our lowest performing children living in low-income communities. Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite in the Windows 95 environment. Bilingual highly desirable, but not required. Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation.

The hours will be from 8 to 4 or 9 to 5 depending on the day. The person applying for this must have summers available to work.
