Program Manger

Program Manager Responsibilities include providing clients with a therapeutic treatment environment by providing on-site supervision of program operations and/or staffcompleting required documentation including daily notes and behavioral support planstransporting clientsimplementing the Teaching Family Modelteaching client social skills, self-help skills, academic skills, and independent living skillsplanning and implementing therapeutic elements of the programworking with program staff and other professionals in facilitating implementation of client treatment plansattending treatment team and other meetings as neededFull time hours that coincide with the public school schedule and some late afternoon/evening hours as well as summer program hours. Barium Springs Home for Children was founded in 1891 by the Synod of North Carolina, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). The Home began as an orphanage, serving the many children whose parents died during their childbearing years. Services later evolved to meet the needs of young people who come from an abusive, neglectful, or unstable family background.
Currently, Barium Springs Home for Children is responding to the needs of North Carolina's children and families through the operation of residential care, educational services, full-day childcare, clinical services, foster care, and campus ministry.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in a Human Services field and two years post graduate experience or a Masters Degree in a Human Services field and one-year post graduate experience.
