Program Facilitator

Responsible for facilitating and promoting Responsible Fatherhood Initiatives, including: conducting group meetings and presentations on male responsibility and parenting as it relates to fathers; facilitating a conflict resolution program in various elementary schools in the county; assisting in the planning and implementation of events to enhance and promote father involvement; flexibility and creativity to appeal to diverse groups while presenting and interfacing. Local travel required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Provides male responsibility, life management and parenting presentations throughout the county.

Develop, implement, and facilitate Responsible Fatherhood Initiative (RFI) programs responsibly and effectively.

Maintain log of weekly meetings and other data necessary for reporting throughout the entire session.

Responsible for professionally conducting and facilitating RFI programs as scheduled.

Attend health and resource fairs as required.

Solicit presentations and programs through written and verbal communication throughout the county.

Provide continual improvement of RFI programs through research.

Complete and submit accurate and timely reports.

Responsible for assisting in the marketing of RFI programs as well as increasing the awareness of other agency programs.

Assists in the development and implementation of events in order to enhance and promote father involvement.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience Required
Working with groups of youth and/or men.
Working with diverse groups.
Public speaking and presentation skills.


Educational Requirements
High School diploma.

Must have a valid Florida driver’s license, have an acceptable driving record, carry minimum auto insurance as required by state law.
