Continuing Education Computer & Technology Programs
Kirkwood is seeking Program Developer responsible for the development of new programs and events that match the demand of regional constituents for the program area of Computer and Technology programs. Will work closely with the Program Development and Operations Team in implementing long and short range program initiatives. Will be involved with needs-assessment, administration of program areas, program analysis/selection, program management, trends and research, new program development, and the procurement and negotiation with learning facilitators. Manages the customer base and is accountable for operating margin, course pricing, course offerings, registration and enrollment, and income. Also oversees the planning and maintenance of training lab facilities for computer and technology related programs.

8. Must have own transportation to travel to businesses and agencies, meet with College and community personnel and clients.
9. Be able to establish relationships within the College and the community that will further promote future opportunities for Computer Technology training programs.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree required. Must have minimum of three years full-time experience in an educational or business setting with experience in information technology/computer training, instructional design, networking, curriculum/program development, or computer technology. Two years experience in networking, internet technologies and advanced desktop/software programs, and troubleshooting required. Preference will given to candidates who have successfully completed the core assessments of the Skills Advantage WorkKeys Program.
