As an Assistant Director at La Petite Academy, parents, teachers, and your Academy Director will look to you for answers, direction, and assistance. You will be trusted with a wide range of tasks that will be essential to the smooth running of the Academy as well as to the educational development of the children.

LPA has an immediate opening for a dynamic, creative and committed educator to support our operation as an Assistant Director. As an Assistant Director, some of the exciting things you will do include, but are not limited to:

·Assist Academy Director in various facets of the Academy’s operation
·Teach, educate, and monitor children as needed
·Assist Academy Director in staff development and training

REQUIREMENTS
Must meet individual state requirements or possess the following:
·2-3 years child care experience or education in early childhood or related field
·Willingness to attain state mandated Director requirements
·High school diploma or G.E.D. required
·Willingness to become a Director
