Production Assistant

Handles and tracks on-air phone calls, which may be nationwide, and forwards calls into studio
Schedules and acts as liaison among authors, talent and production staff in the development and the finalizing of program materials and scripts
Receives drafts of scripts by organizing video, stills, graphic and sound to source and appropriate timing sequences, keeping a running total to exact specifications
Serves a liaison between producers, directors and clients director and crew
Operates a TelePrompTer by inserting disc, reviewing TelePrompTer copy with talent and running in accordance with timing segments so that on-air talent successfully completes the program.
REQUIREMENTS
Equivalent to one year full-time scriptwriting or video productions. The equivalent of one year of college courses in video productions from an accredited institution may be substituted for the required experienceEquivalent to graduation from high school is required and courses in English, scriptwriting, video/television production, cinema, a second language is desirable.
