Full time Pre-K Teacher

Job Description:
Preschool Teacher: Provide for the emotional and physical needs of your group throughout the day. Plan and implement a High/Scope based curriculum, engaging in quality interactions with children indoors and outdoors. Maintain a consistent daily routine. Maintain materials-rich and print-rich classroom environments. Display professionalism in communications with children, parents and co-workers. Observe and document children’s development. Work as a team with the Director and other teachers to meet the goals of the program.

Teacher Qualifications:
Education: We will give highest consideration to BA or AA in ECE, or 24 units with related degree. Licensing requirements call for 12 units minimum in ECE, however, as standards are changing for NAEYC accredited schools, we will seek teachers who are willing to continue their ECE units.
Work Experience: One full year working in a preschool setting.

Teacher Qualifications:

Education: We will give highest consideration to BA or AA in ECE, or 24 units with related degree. Licensing requirements call for 12 units minimum in ECE, however, as standards are changing for NAEYC accredited schools, we will seek teachers who are willing to continue their ECE units.
Work Experience: One full year working in a preschool setting.

Candidates must provide documents proving eligibility to work as well as licensing required criteria such as educational transcripts, health screening and clear TB test before work begins.
