Persian Farsi Language Instructor

L-3 Communications Titan Group, Intelligence Solutions Division has an opening for a Persian Farsi Instructor.

This position provides beginning, intermediate and advanced Persian/Farsi language instruction to U.S. government language specialists preferably in the Sorani dialect. This instruction will focus on reading comprehension and transcription skills, aimed at improving student proficiency to Level 3. Additionally, this position includes preparing new course materials, developing e-curriculum and CBT courseware.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Level 4/4 native or near-native fluency in the required language. Five years combined experience in language education and methodology and adult education required. Minimum five years combined experience preparing and presenting language platform instruction within a learning center environment. Two years experience using word processing software required. Three years combined experience developing and delivering language courses for both platform and e-learning delivery from refresher through advanced (post-graduate) levels, focusing on translation, grammar, oral comprehension, reading comprehension, and non-standard language usage. Instructions to be unclassified in content. Five years experience in conceptualization, design, development, and management of large training systems. Five years experience of leading-edge concepts in distance learning, automated training delivery systems- specific emphasis on macro distance education concepts. Four years experience in managing, coordinating, and developing technology-based training under Government standards. Four years experience of software or system design, interfaces, network configurations, server-based training concepts, and web-based delivery methodologies.

Education: Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or comparable education/training related curriculum.
