Patient Care Technician Instructor

If you can perform the following duties we are looking for you!!Maintain a teaching assignment each module.
Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/outline provided, to assure that course content and objectives are met. Distribute a copy of the module calendar to all students at first class meeting.
Cover all material in depth and scope as described in syllabus.
Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students.
Design, administer and grade examinations to assess achievement of course objectives as identified in the syllabus.
Begin class at the designated time and provide a full period of instruction for the class periods(s) involved.
Actively work to maintain retention in all classes taught, by maintaining accurate attendance records daily, calling all students who are absent, and recording absentee information in roster after each class meeting and communicating attendance “concerns” to the Program Chair or DOE.
Offer suggestions and recommendations regarding revisions to the curriculum to the Program Chair or DOE.
Recruit area business/professional individuals interested in education for positions on the department’s Advisory Board.
Be available to advise students, tutor and provide other assistance as needed.
REQUIREMENTS


Current Georgia Nursing License.
3 years of recent hospital experience.
CPR Certification.
Train the Trainer certification.
