Come grow with us! Sylvan Learning Center, the world’s leading provider of supplemental education, is seeking Part-Time Instructors for day, evening and weekend instruction. As an Instructor reporting to the Director of Education, you will:


Teach students in a 3:1 student-teacher ratio setting
Use pre-planned lessons
Use proven methods developed by educators
Use familiar materials approved by schools
Motivate students of all ages to excel academically
Benefit from career advancement opportunities.
Specific subject areas include:
Reading (all levels)
Writing (all levels)
Math (elementary through Algebra 1 & 2 and Geometry)
Study Skills
SAT/ACT Preparation.



REQUIREMENTS
Previous tutoring experience preferred. For math instructors experience tutoring Algebra and Geometry a PLUS! BA/BS degree is required for all positions. State Certification required for non-mathematic instructors.
