Now hiring energetic, warm and caring certified teachers for part time evenings and weekends to teach reading and math in our Urbandale location. Higher-level math/algebra skills are a plus. As an Instructor reporting to the Director of Education, you will:
Teach students in a 3:1 student-teacher ratio setting
Use pre-planned lessons
Use proven methods developed by educators
Use familiar materials approved by schools
Motivate students of all ages to excel academically
Benefit from career advancement opportunities.
Specific subject areas include:
Reading (all levels)
Writing (all levels)
Math (elementary through Algebra 1 & 2 and Geometry)
Study Skills
SAT/ACT Preparation. REQUIREMENTS
A teaching certificate is required. You must be flexible, professional and customer service oriented.
